Red Vote is governance voting for Toastmasters District Councils — registration, credentialing, allocation, ballots, results, audit. One subscription per district, billed annually.

What's included

• DCL import. Upload the Toastmasters District Council List from Club Central; the system parses clubs, officers, and DEC members automatically.
• Self-service registration. Members validate their identity, select clubs, and confirm attendance via a personalized link.
• Auto vote allocation. Sole-rep priority, 2-vote caps, quorum optimization — handled by the engine, not by hand.
• Mobile-first voting. Voters tap to vote on any phone. No app install needed.
• Real-time results. Ballots push to voters instantly; results are calculated on close and visible to scrutineers immediately.
• Cryptographic audit trail. Every action is logged and verifiable via a hash chain.
• Bilingual support. Operator UI and voter UI in English and French at launch (EN+FR shipped at v1.0); additional languages already available in the voter UI.

How billing works

• Annual subscription. One charge per year, billed up front. Your subscription runs for 365 days from the date of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Renews on the anniversary of purchase. We send a notice 30 days in advance. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime.
• Tax-exclusive pricing. Prices on this page are before tax. Paddle (our authorized Merchant of Record) adds applicable GST/HST/PST/VAT/sales tax at checkout based on your location and remits it to the tax authority. You receive a tax-compliant receipt.
• Cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of your paid period. See our Refund Policy for full details on the 30-day money-back window and 14-day renewal-charge window.

FAQ

Is there a non-profit discount?

Red Vote v1 is a single flat tier — there is no separate NFP discount. US$199 per district per year is the price for every district, non-profit or not.

Why Paddle, not Stripe?

Paddle is a Merchant of Record. They handle tax compliance globally — GST/HST in Canada, VAT in the EU/UK, sales tax in US states — so we don't have to. For a small operation with international customers, this is a big deal.

What if I'm an existing beta user?

The free district beta ended on 2026-06-30. Beta users who subscribe are regular customers at the standard US$199 rate; beta access without a subscription is no longer available.

What about Red Table or other Red Taverns products?

Each product is sold separately in v1. Red Table is currently in free beta through 2026-09-30 with its own commercial launch to follow. There is no v1 bundle that combines Red Vote and Red Table; a bundle may return after Red Table goes commercial.

Is my data safe?

Application data is hosted in Canadian regions (Supabase ca-central-1; GCP northamerica-northeast1). See our Privacy Policy for full details on processors, residency, and your rights under PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25.

How do I get an invoice for purchase orders?

Most districts can use the standard self-serve checkout, which produces a tax-compliant Paddle receipt. If your district requires a manually-issued invoice or specific PO terms, contact ron@taverns.red before purchasing — we can arrange a Paddle-issued invoice outside the self-serve overlay.
